Uluslararası Genç Forwarder Yarışması 2017 başvuruları başladı

FIATA ile TT Club işbirliğiyle düzenlenen ve uluslararası lojistik sektörünün en saygın etkinlikleri arasında sayılan “Uluslararası Genç Forwarder Yarışması” için başvurular başlamıştır.

Taşımacılık ve lojistik sektöründe tercihen en az 2 yıl deneyimli, 18 – 32 yaş arasında tüm genç forwarderlara açık olan yarışmada, ülkemiz adına başvuracak adayların değerlendirmeleri UTİKAD tarafından yapılacak olup; seçilen en başarılı proje Türkiye adayı olarak FIATA‘ya bildirilecek ve değerlendirmeler sonucu önce bölgesel birinciler daha sonra ise uluslararası birinci belirlenecektir. Üye firmalarımızda faaliyet gösteren genç forwarderlar arasından seçilecek Türkiye adayına UTİKAD tarafından 1,000 TL değerinde hediye çeki verilecektir.

Yarışmaya katılmak isteyen adayların aday bilgi formu ve proje konularını en geç 15 Aralık 2016 Perşembe günü mesai bitimine kadar [email protected] adresine iletmeleri gerekmektedir.

Tüm genç lojistikçilerimizi, uluslararası taşımacılık ve lojistik dünyasına geleceğin yükselen genç yıldızlarını kazandıran Uluslararası Genç Forwarder Yarışması’na sektörümüzü ve ülkemizi temsil etmek üzere katılmaya davet eder, üye firma yöneticilerimizden gençlerimizi bu yönde teşvik etmelerini rica ederiz.

YIFFY Award Topic – 2017 Please select one key import commodity/cargo for your home country, plus one key export commodity/cargo. For the import cargo the choice of origin should be realistic. Likewise, for the export cargo, the destination should be a realistic destination. Candidates are expected to show initiative over the voyages of these cargoes. Your dissertation will be judged on the following criteria:
1) Complexity of issues related to the cargo matter (e.g., bulk cargo, over-sized/overweight project cargo, time sensitive cargo, reefer and/or perishable goods, hazardous goods, but also including factors such as terms of sale etc.,);
2) Complexity of issues relating to multimodal moves. Please do not use unimodal cargo in your dissertation;
3) Difficulties overcome relating to cross-border issues, such as customs formalities, Bond issues, Highway Ordinances etc.;
4) Complexity of Regulatory issues faced during the voyage – including, but, not limited to security provision, pollution and environmental issues;
5) Risk management/insurance hurdles overcome, for example, pilferage of cargo, declaration of General Average, Leakage/spillage of cargo;
6) Structure (including the sources of your information);
7) Approach to the problems faced and Methodology used to overcome the various issues;
8) Conclusion;
9) General Presentation (including for example a recognised referencing system).
Extra marks will be awarded for the complexity of the problems overcome during these voyages. The dissertation and conclusion shall be between 4,000 and 6,000 words (max. 6000 words) in length and, the entire dissertation shall be written in English. Candidates may write their dissertation in French, German or Spanish but must provide an English translation of the text (not the attachments). Attachments must not exceed 15 pages ! Submissions containing more than 6,000 words will be penalised. Dissertations submitted in a locked format may be disqualified. Candidates are expected to use a recognised referencing system (like those of the Harvard Referencing System or Chicago Referencing System, etc.)

Hello everyone. My name is Mehmet Kali. In the industry, I am known as "Kali". I graduated from the first civil aviation training school in Turkey, which was known as the Civil Aviation School at the time and is now Eskişehir Technical University, in 1991. As I graduated from the Business Administration department, it was a bit challenging for me to integrate into the industry. I have worked for companies such as SultanAir, DHMI, Havaş, and Swissair, and currently, I provide services and consultancy in air cargo transportation. I have experience in dispatching, air traffic control, passenger services, and aircraft coordination. During my time at Swissair, I had the opportunity to experience aviation training in many countries. Since 2012, I have been focusing on air cargo transportation. For three years, I taught courses on air cargo at Nişantaşı University. I still hold valid IATA certifications related to both passenger and cargo operations. For over ten years, I have been managing aeroportist.com, a news website related to aviation, which initially started as a hobby. I enjoy building aviation networks and sharing knowledge.
