Turkish Cargo leased two aircraft from CMA CGM Air Cargo
Turkish Cargo has recently leased two aircraft from CMA CGM Air Cargo company, and one of them has already arrived in Istanbul. The second one is expected to arrive in May. This exciting news was announced by Turkish Cargo through a social media post featuring a photo of the plane, which also included Turhan Özen, the Chief Cargo Officer of Turkish Airlines.
This acquisition of new aircraft is expected to further enhance Turkish Cargo’s already impressive fleet, enabling them to expand their cargo operations and deliver goods more efficiently and effectively. As a leader in the air cargo industry, Turkish Cargo is committed to providing reliable and high-quality services to their customers, and this investment in new planes is a clear demonstration of that commitment.
With the arrival of the second aircraft in May, Turkish Cargo will have even greater capacity to meet the growing demand for air cargo transportation, which has become increasingly important due to the pandemic-related restrictions on other forms of transportation. The new planes are also expected to help Turkish Cargo expand their global reach and better serve their customers around the world. Overall, this is a positive development for the company and the air cargo industry as a whole.
CMA CGM Air Cargo began flying one of its freighters on behalf of Turkish Cargo on April 7 with flights from Istanbul (IST) on routes that include Paris (CDG), Amsterdam (AMS), Stockholm (ARN), Helsinki (HEL) and Casablanca (CMN). For the routes, CMA CGM has been using using a 2014-vintage A330-200F (1584, ex-Qatar Airways).
