THYânin, ACT Havayollarıândan kiraladıÄı aynı tipteki uçaÄın geçen ay BiÅkekâte düÅmesi sonucu ACT ile olan anlaÅma fesh edilmiÅti. Yerine Atlas Airâden bir adet Boeing 747 kargo uçaÄını wet-lease olarak kiralamak için anlaÅmıÅtı. UçaÄın Turkish Cargo filosuna katılması bekleniyordu.
Uçak 4 adet CF6-80 motoruna sahip, Nisan 2000 yılında Atlas Air‘e teslim edilmiÅti.
13 Mart akÅamı N412MC tescilli Boeing 747-47UF(SCD) tipi uçak ilk seferini gerçekleÅtirmiÅ ve TK6491/THY6491 sefer sayılı uçuÅu ile Hong Kong â Bishkek â Ä°stanbul rotası olarak yapmıÅtı. Uçak Turkish Cargo operasyonlarında Åu ana kadar Kuveyt ve Dubai’ye uçtu.

For three years, I taught courses on air cargo at NiÅantaÅı University. I still hold valid IATA certifications related to both passenger and cargo operations.
