We are looking to hire a Country Head of Air Freight to be responsible for the Country EBIT of the Air Freight product.
He/She will work closely with Regional Trade lane Management & Procurement Air Freight, and with Regional Air Freight Standards & Governance
The primary purposes of this role are:
1. To execute the global Air Freight product and trade lane management / procurement strategies at Country level
2. To execute the global Air Freight standards & guidelines at Country level
Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years of operational air freight experience either on the forwarder or airline side
* Minimum 5 years of experience in people management and leadership, including recruitment, training & development, coaching, conflict and performance management
* Work experience in a global forwarding / logistics company
* Profound knowledge of the air freight industry
Good knowledge of
* product
* trends and opportunities
* markets (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment)
* procurement and capacity management for air freight, including service contracts
* business administration
* supplier management
* the Country concerned, including knowledge of local suppliers
* local laws and regulations
Knowledge of
* finance
* controlling
* process engineering and improvement methodologies
