Kuwait Airways Istanbul achieves operational record
Kuwait Airways has achieved a historic milestone by loading 46,572 kg of dangerous goods onto its KU152/5MAY Boeing B77-200 passenger aircraft on the Istanbul-Kuwait route. With this record, it has become the airline with the heaviest load of dangerous goods that can be carried on a passenger aircraft.
Thanks to the efforts of the Prime Cargo team and Kuwait Airways’ adherence to high safety standards, this extraordinary achievement was made possible. The flight crew also worked tirelessly to ensure the safe transportation of the dangerous goods loaded onto the passenger aircraft.
It is noted that the amount of dangerous goods on board the passenger aircraft was strictly monitored and transported in accordance with the standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). In addition, general cargo was also transported on the plane.
This achievement by Kuwait Airways sets a new record in the aviation industry, demonstrating their meticulous adherence to international standards and safety protocols.
