Turkish Airlines currently is an operator of a growing fleet of Boeing 737’s and 777’s.Position DescriptionProvide Field Service support for the maintenance and operation of Boeing airplanes operated by our customers.Coordinate airline accomplishment of advanced troubleshooting procedures required isolate equipment problems not easily detected and resolved through normal diagnostics and maintenance documentation.Provide assistance to customers with the interpretation of technical documents.Monitor and record status field service on- site activity required to resolve customer issues.Provide specialized on-the-job training to customers.Support the activities of the Boeing Commercial Sales Director and his team.Participate in normal business activities associated with administrative functions of the Field Service Office.Champion local and Company safety processes and procedures.Be willing to travel, from time-to-time, to visit customers and trainings as required.CANDIDATES MUST HAVE CURRENT LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN TURKEY. - High proficiency in written and spoken English
- University degree in engineering – aviation related preferred
- At least 8-years of experience working in commercial aviation.
- A broad background in systems and structures is beneficial especially on Boeing models.
- Willingness to travel regionally to visit customers, and internationally for training.
- Excellent people skills and team interaction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills will be key to fostering a good team environment.
- Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to research Boeing documentation when seeking resolutions to problems.
- Willingness to identify operational issues and provide research oriented guidance to the airline engineering and management.
- Helping to continually improve support provided to our customers through demonstrated interest in, and knowledge of, Data Analytics and computer skills is highly desired.
- Candidate must be mobile and flexible allowing work from different offices.
