Air Astana once again recognised by APEX as Best Airline in Central Asia
Air Astana received the prestigious Best Overall Airline Award APEX 2026 in the category “Best Airline in Central Asia” at a ceremony held in Singapore on 12th November 2025.
“This recognition is the result of many years of work by the entire Air Astana team. We strive to offer our passengers authentic Kazakh hospitality, combining a high level of service, safety and modern environmentally friendly solutions,” said Yelena Obukhova, Vice-president of inflight services at Air Astana.
During the ceremony, AirAstana presented its new Meridian business class headphones, created in partnership with the international company Linstol. Inspired by Kazakh handicraft art, the model combines modern design with elements of national ornament, providing comfort and clear sound thanks to its ergonomic shape, soft materials and noise- reduction technology.
The award ceremony took place within the framework of APEX FTE Asia EXPO 2025, the largest exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region dedicated to innovation, technology and improving the passenger experience. The event brought together leading airlines, airports, suppliers and industry experts, presenting the latest achievements in the field of digital transformation, sustainable development and customer service.
Two months earlier, Air Astana received Five-Star rating by APEX in the “Major Airlines” category for the sixth time at the ceremony held in USA. The APEX Awards are held twice a year, in North America and Asia.
