Air Astana Goes Live with easie by ICRON’s Resource Management System

Air Astana has successfully gone live with easie by ICRON’s Resource Management System (RMS) for Ground Operations at its Almaty station, marking another important step in the airline’s digital transformation journey.

The implementation began in January 2026 and was completed in less than six months, with the system going live in June. The project was delivered through close collaboration between the Air Astana and easie by ICRON project teams.

The solution is currently used by approximately 500 ground employees, with adoption expected to reach around 800 by the end of 2026. It connects workforce planning with operational execution through integrated Roster Management and Real-Time Management capabilities.

Its mobile application supports Employee Self-Service for roster-related processes and enables real-time operational communication during execution, including task acceptance, progress updates and status reporting.

Since implementing the solution, Air Astana has streamlined previously manual and time-consuming planning processes. The time required to prepare, validate and publish employee rosters has been reduced, while planning accuracy and efficiency have improved.

The system’s advanced planning capabilities help Air Astana optimize resource utilization, create better schedules, minimize conflicts and respond flexibly to changing operational requirements. Real-time visibility also supports faster, more informed decisions while reducing manual work and planning errors.

Overall, the Resource Management System has helped Air Astana improve planning quality, increase visibility across its workforce resources and enhance operational decision-making.
