On the awards, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat stated: “We are proud to receive APEX World Class Award on the APEX Official Airline Ratings for the second time this year. As only 8 airlines were deemed worthy of this award throughout the globe, it shows the significance of our achievement. Also we are pleased to be named Five Star Global Airline for the sixth year in a row. We will continue to shape and enrich our services in accordance with the expectations and satisfaction of our guests in the framework of safety and sustainability.”

Organized for the second time and given to a very limited number of airlines, APEX World Class Award was only given to 8 airlines this year.

Flying to more countries than any other airline, flag carrier was also chosen as a Five Star Global Airline for the sixth time this year with the passenger evaluations.

Awards ceremony was held during APEX/IFSA EXPO in Long Beach, California in United States on October 26.
