SINGAPORE AIRLINES WILL PAY COMPENSATION TO PASSENGERS INJURED IN TURBULENCE
Singapore Airlines has announced that it will pay compensation to passengers injured in turbulence during a London-Singapore flight in May.
In a post on its social media account, the airline offered to pay 10 thousand dollars to passengers with minor injuries and 25 thousand dollars to those with more serious health problems and to negotiate for their special needs.
It was announced that the Boeing 777-300 type plane with 211 passengers and 18 crew members entered severe turbulence over the Indian Ocean. One passenger on board died and dozens of passengers were injured.
