İGA concluded area allocation contracts worth EUR 250 million with MNG, PTT, Çelebi Ground Handling, HAVAŞ, Sistem Logistics and Bilin Logistics as regards the Cargo City and Ground Services Campus at the meeting which CEO of İGA Airport Operation Hüseyin Keskin attended.
MNG, PTT, Çelebi Air Service, HAVAŞ, Sistem Logistics and Bilin Logistics will serve in Cargo City also MNG, Çelebi Air Service and HAVAŞ will serve in the Ground Service Campus as per their licences.
MNG, PTT, Çelebi Air Service, HAVAŞ, Sistem Lojistik and Bilin Logistics will take their places to serve in the Istanbul New Airport by making the buildings in the “Cargo City and Ground Services Campus” with signed 25-year agreements.
The Istanbul New Airport will provide flights to 350 destinations in total, will contribute to Turkey’s export targets. The Istanbul New Airport will create cargo volume and increase e-commerce.
50 percent of leasable areas are completed. The size of Cargo City is around 200 football fields.
Istanbul New Airport Cargo City will be 1.4 million square meters with cargo airplane park positions and the sum of all cargo areas. This size corresponds to the football field of 200 international standards. The City of Cargo is constructed in such a way that 35 wide-body cargo planes can operate at the same time.
