Air Astana Increases Flight Frequencies on Türkiye Routes: Istanbul and Antalya Flights Reach 14 Times a Week

Air Astana, the leading carrier of Kazakhstan, has decided to increase its weekly flight frequencies from Kazakhstan’s major hubs to Türkiye’s popular destinations to meet the surging passenger demand during the busy summer and autumn seasons.

According to the new schedule, the weekly frequency adjustments for the Türkiye routes are as follows:

Almaty – Istanbul Route: In addition to the current daily flights, new scheduled flights are being introduced, bringing the total weekly frequency up to 14 flights (two flights daily) during the peak season.

Astana – Istanbul Route: The current daily service (7 flights a week) will be increased to 8 flights a week with an additional flight on Saturdays between July and September.

Atyrau – Istanbul Route: Flights from the Western Kazakhstan region are optimized to operate 3 times a week—on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays—with added frequencies.

Almaty – Antalya Route: During the peak summer season, flights on this route will be operated 14 times a week (two flights daily).

Astana – Antalya Route: To meet the high demand, the flight frequency on this route will be set to 11 flights a week.

Almaty – Bodrum Route: During the peak holiday months of July and August, flights will continue to run 3 times a week.

Astana – Bodrum Route: Throughout the season, operations on this route will continue with 2 flights a week.

Air Astana aims to offer passengers much more flexible travel options and higher seat capacity thanks to these increased frequencies. Flight tickets linking Kazakhstan and Türkiye are now available for reservation and purchase at advantageous prices via Air Astana’s official website, mobile application, and authorized travel agencies.

Mehmet Kali
Hello everyone. My name is Mehmet Kali. In the industry, I am known as "Kali". I graduated from the first civil aviation training school in Turkey, which was known as the Civil Aviation School at the time and is now Eskişehir Technical University, in 1991. As I graduated from the Business Administration department, it was a bit challenging for me to integrate into the industry. I have worked for companies such as SultanAir, DHMI, Havaş, and Swissair, and currently, I provide services and consultancy in air cargo transportation. I have experience in dispatching, air traffic control, passenger services, and aircraft coordination. During my time at Swissair, I had the opportunity to experience aviation training in many countries. Since 2012, I have been focusing on air cargo transportation. For three years, I taught courses on air cargo at Nişantaşı University. I still hold valid IATA certifications related to both passenger and cargo operations. For over ten years, I have been managing aeroportist.com, a news website related to aviation, which initially started as a hobby. I enjoy building aviation networks and sharing knowledge. If there is anything I can contribute to, I am here. Best regards "kali"
