Turkish Airlines has been chosen the Best Airline in Europe in 2022 Skytrax World Airline Awards
Flying to new records after the most significant crisis of aviation history and distinguishing itself from its competitors with a strong performance throughout the year, Turkish Airlines, the airline that flies to more countries than any other is named Best Airline in Europe by Skytrax on the prestigious 2022 World Airline Awards.
Held in historic Langham Hotel in London on 23 September, 2022 World Airline Awards saw several accolades being presented to the successful flag carrier aside from the Best Airline in Europe award. In addition to being named the Best Airline in Europe by travelers from around the world, Turkish Airlines won two other major awards at the ceremony, namely the World’s Best Business Class Catering and the Best Airline in Southern Europe.
During the evaluation of the airlines to determine the winner of the awards, an online customer survey was operated from September 2021 to August 2022, together with invitations sent to previous year respondents in the survey database. The customer survey was provided in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. Over 100 customer nationalities participated in the 2021/2022 survey with 14.32 million eligible entries counted in the results.
Receiving the awards at the ceremony, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat said: “We are very pleased to be with you again in this environment where our distinguished service approach has been appreciated many times.
