Finance Officer (M/F) – IST

The Finance Officer carries out Finance and Accounting related tasks in his/her area for Sales, Station, Line Maintenance and Cargo, within the given guidelines. He/she is responsible for the completion of administrative tasks within his/her responsibility. Together with the team colleagues he/she is responsible to ensure compliance in all fields such as procurement, contracting, and etcetera. and be a point of contact for legal issues.
Dependent on the assignment focus the tasks include the following:
- Deal with banks and banking issues, taxes and tax consultants
- Handling of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable issues, local support in collection and payments
- Handling VAT refund together with tax consultant
- Monthly payment of Salaries, Social Security Insurances and Income taxes within the given framework
- Monitoring and processing of finance related deadlines – especially at Annual Closings
- Handling of the Incentive Processes and other special processes such as Barters, and etcetera
- Supporting Lufthansa Global Business Services KRK in case of arising questions, updating of the Country Specifications
- Handling of Contract Management Tool, maintenance of contracts and optimization of contract terms and conditions on a regular basis
- Performing Internes Kontrollsystem checks on a regular basis
- Handling of Billing and Settlement Plan and CASS issues
- Supporting IST CA/L team on Administrative tasks and Human Resource related issues
- Dealing with legal cases and company lawyers, keeping the related files
Your profile
- High school certificate, A level/ Abitur or equivalent required
- Bachelor Degree desirable
- Professional experience required
- Fluent English and Turkish skills are required, German as desirable
- Good Computer Skills
