About the Job:You will provide high quality and service standards by supervising the GHA (ground handling agent) activities, assist cargo manager with various reports and regional functions. You will provide cargo operations and customer service functions including interaction with customers and GHA for both import and export cargo. You will update the head office on the current local government regulations relevant to the respective station to ensure smooth cargo operations.

You will plan flights with maximum flight utilization of the flight capacity , control and operation export and import and will also maintain a close coordination between QR space control and customers by ensuring their shipments are transferred, delivered on time, correct priority given to shipments and for maximum utilization of space on account.

About You:You will need to hold a high school qualification having a minimum of 2-3 years experience in cargo industry  out of which 2 years must be in airport/warehouse handling area. Previous experience and knowledge in cargo and airlines is desired.

You will need to be computer literate, should be able to work with minimum staff under high work pressure and shift duties. You should also be able to work in adverse climatic conditions in the ramp and warehouse and should be able to lead, adjust and work with team members and make decisions.

You must have good command of written and spoken English and currently be eligible to live and work in Istanbul, Turkey

About Your Job:As an Airport Services Agent, you will provide an excellent service to customers at the airport terminal, and help create a stress-free environment for customers whilst travelling.  You will ensure a total quality service and adhere to safety policies and security standards of the company.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Being visible to ensure that the highest level of service is provided in a professional manner
  • Liaising with Check-In, and other related areas for the smooth acceptance of passengers
  • Escorting and directing arriving/departing passengers to the respective areas such as Hotel Desk, Visa Counter, Transfer Desk, Premium Lounges, and Boarding Gates
  • Assisting Duty Officer to handle company materials and records
  • Working with GHA for quick processing of hotel and transfer passengers
  • Conducting pre-flight administration to ensure the smooth running of every Qatar Airways flight departure
About You:To be successful in this role you must have a high school Qualification(O level,Year 10, minimum compulsory education. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an airline/travel industry. You should be service oriented with good interpersonal skills. Knowledge in IATA standard reservation/ticketing procedure is a strong advantage with fair knowledge of world geography and proven experience with the Amadeus reservation system.

Good interpersonal and communication skills in English along with knowledge of PC-based applications are also required.

Abour Your Job:As the Airport Services Manager, you will ensure safe, secure and cost effective QR airport operations at the station to achieve regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and 5-star customer service.

You will liaise with local airport Handling Management to ensure QR ground handling and customer service standards are met at all times.

You will also liaise with Airport Authorities and all Government agencies at the station.

You will also represent QR at the Airport AOC and manage and motivate the airport team.

Specific accountabilities include:


  • Managing the daily operation and acting as a liaison between airport service providers, government agencies and authorities, and senior management
  • Providing inputs and recommendations to management regarding short and long term service improvements and changes
  • Acting as the Primary contact and liaison person for all areas of the QR airport operation at the station
  • Performing personnel administration for direct reports, including selection, training, performance appraisals, employee development, and take affirmative action
  • Establishing the department or team objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives
About You:To be effective in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree or equivalent combined with a minimum of five years of job related experience.

You will need extensive knowledge of the airport environment and proven experience in crisis management.

A strong customer-focus and sound budgetary planning and tracking experience is also required.

You will need to be fluent English (written and spoken) to perform this role.
